Look closely at your nutrition facts, though. It is still a starch and should be consumed in moderation. The serving size is typically the same, or even smaller, than other whole grains such as brown rice.


The calories, fiber, and protein are comparable in each of these items. So make sure you measure, because you can have too much of a good thing!
