Three easy ways to stay fit and active at work.

 

If it’s not in the office budget for a treadmill desk, here are three simple ways to keep yourself moving at work.

 

1. Drink more water. The more water you consume, the more trips to the bathroom you will take and you could be getting up every hour to do so.  Just make the trip fast and don’t let your path go by the coffee machine where there are donuts!

 

2. Try to pack a lunch that is quick to eat so you can use 15 minutes of your lunch break for walking and better yet, walking stairs.

 

3. If you have a phone call, use a wireless head set or put the phone on speaker so that you can pace around your office while you are on the call. Being on your feet can also keep your mind sharper and you more actively engaged in what you are listening to.
